This donation is given in honor of Daniel for his birthday.
He accompanied his father, who had served in the Navy, on the Honor Flight a few years ago and was so taken back by being able to be surrounded by the amazing men and women who had also served, hearing their stories, going to see the memorials and mail call on the plane. One year after he accompanied his father, his father passed away.
Daniel has made it his mission to be involved with the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight donating his time in whatever capacity and time allows him to. He truly has a special place in his heart for our men and women who serve and for our country.

Buechler, Ronald A.
Uncle Ron was a proud U.S. Navy veteran with a signature style all his own. Whether he ever realized his fashion notoriety is uncertain, but those of us who knew him will never forget it. When I was growing up, he sported a classic handlebar mustache. As the years went on and his hairline receded, his look evolved--becoming defined by his camouflage sport coat for formal occasions and his infamous red, white and blue American Eagle T-shirt, always paired with one of his many U.S. Navy Veteran hats.
Uncle Ron spent time stationed in Japan, where he learned the trade that would become lifelong service to his family: electrician. There is likely not a single home in our extended family that doesn’t bear evidence of Uncle Ron’s handiwork. If something needed fixing, wiring or figuring out, Uncle Ron was there--tools in hand and a solution ready.
To know Uncle Ron was to love him. He had a smile that could brighten even the dullest day, and a presence that made people feel at ease.
Love, Bill & Jen Brazelton and Chip & Jennifer Schoenfeldt
