Tribute	We are coworkers of Jeni’s who’s dad passed away last week. This organization meant so much to my dad. He was a veteran having served during Vietnam. It was difficult for the men and women who returned home after the war because there was so much controversy. The Stars and Stripes organization provides an opportunity for these veterans to heal and be recognized for their service. My dad had attended over 50 homecomings to welcome these veterans home. He and I were scheduled for the April 2020 flight which was canceled due to the pandemic. Stars and Stripes organized a parade in 2020 which we attended and another in 2021 to ensure our veterans could be recognized while we waited for the flights to return. My dad didn’t make it for his flight so I am incredibly grateful for the parade.
