DUE OCTOBER 16TH, 2021
Please immediately begin collecting letters of thanks for your veteran from his or her family and friends. The letters will be distributed as a SURPRISE for the veterans on their Honor Flight day. Most veterans receive between 10-20 personal letters.
Directions for collecting mail for your veteran:
-
- One person should collect all mail. Handwritten letters and cards are best, but printed emails are also acceptable. Begin the collection process now, so you will have time to collect, print (if necessary) and mail the letters to us before the due date listed above.
-
- Once letters are collected, they should be mailed in one package to the address listed below. Please do not seal envelopes, and please make sure each letter has the veteran’s first and last name on each envelope. If you receive letters in sealed envelopes, please slit them open.
-
- Cards and letters should all fit in one 11 x 13 envelope. Please do not include food, glitter, or bulky items.
-
- Mail one package with all your veteran’s mail at least three days prior to the due date, with their name clearly written on both the outside and inside of the package, to:
