A special evening dedicated to raising funds for local veterans to enjoy an Honor Flight.
Saturday, November 14, 2020, 6-11 PM
Brookfield Conference Center in Brookfield, Wisconsin
Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. is the local southeastern Wisconsin hub of the Honor Flight Network. We have flown 7,606 veterans on 56 flights (through 2019) and are supported by more than 200 dedicated volunteers. Our mission is to honor veterans with a trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials and experience a day of honor and thanks.
All-Star Night for Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. will be a first-ever gala event, established to celebrate and share memories made as well as promote and fund the mission of Honor Flight.
Proceeds from this event will financially support the efforts of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. providing each veteran with an all-expenses-paid, much-deserved day of honor and thanks.
Gala 2020 Fundraiser
Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, Inc. relies on both individual donations and corporate support to honor our local heroes. As an all-volunteer organization, we are proud to share that more than $.97 of every donated dollar goes directly to our mission.
“This whole day changed my life… the people who organize and work behind the scenes are selfless and amazing, and the camaraderie amongst the other veterans is like coming home!!! We were absolutely blown away by the reception we received at the airport, and the recognition that was missing 47 years ago, was replaced by cheering and hugs and kisses!
— Art, Veteran
“I was not ready for the huge outpouring of respect, honor and love shown by the many volunteers. What made this even more special is it was genuine and from their hearts. They gave me a day will remember for the rest of my life. Lastly, demons I got 50 years ago from my treatment after I came home from Vietnam are expelled never to come back. God bless everyone for what they do to honor the veteran.”
– Rosario, Veteran
“This flight humbled me in ways I cannot even begin to place into words…Spending the day with my father on this flight was something neither of us will ever forget. Having the opportunity to honor him and the other veterans, to interact and hear the stories, to be part of their experience in Washington was beyond life-changing. These two words seem so completely inadequate, but thank you.”
